South Korean president makes first-ever visit to Kyiv, goes to see war crime sites.

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol visited Kyiv for the first time on July 15 to meet his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky.

Ben Wallace to resign as UK Defense Minister, not contest MP seat.

U.K. Defense Minister Ben Wallace has said in an interview published by the Times on July 15 that he plans to resign from his post at the next reshuffle of Cabinet and would not run for parliament in the next general election.

Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia Oblast injures 3 people.

Russian troops attacked the town of Stepnohirsk in Zaporizhzhia Oblast with Grad multiple-launch rocket systems, injuring three people on July 15, President’s Office Head Andrii Yermak wrote on Telegram.

Prosecutor General: Over 50 Russians found guilty of war crimes in Ukraine.

As of July 15, Ukrainian courts found 53 Russian nationals guilty of war crimes, more than 300 identified Russians are currently suspected, the country’s Prosecutor General Andrii Kostin said.

Media: Serbia to send humanitarian aid after Kakhovka dam disaster.

The Serbian government agreed to allocate humanitarian aid to help Ukraine address the humanitarian crisis caused by Russia’s June 6 demolition of the Kakhovka dam in Kherson Oblast, Serbian media outlet RTS reported on July 15.

UK Defense Ministry: 18,000 Ukrainian infantry soldiers trained in country so far.

In one year, the U.K. has trained 18,000 Ukrainian volunteer infantrymen under the Operation Interflex training program, the country’s defense ministry reported on July 15.

South Korea to increase aid to Ukraine to $150 million**. **

During his first-ever visit to Kyiv on July 15, South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol announced that Seoul will increase aid for Ukraine to $150 million.

Ukraine says it destroyed Russian S-400 missile system used in deadly strike on Kramatorsk.

According to the military, a U.S.-provided HIMARS was used to strike the Russian target.

Russia unleashes drones, bombards southern Ukraine overnight. Russian forces have launched drone attacks and shelled front-line towns and villages in southern Ukraine over the past day, leaving at least one civilian injured, local authorities reported on July 15.
